Pride

Gracious Father,  we lay before You our pride and ask that you replace our prideful heart with a righteous one.  Thank You for your patience when we are not for Your glory. You know our hearts.  Father, You know when we rise up and You know when we fall.  Break the stronghold of entitlement. Bring to our consciousness our faults that is blinded by pride.  Let our ears hear and our hearts receive criticism or honest words of our character.  So that we can be more receptive to Your voice and Your word.  Father, we want to hear You, we want to know You intimately.  Show us the error of our character, to walk in the light  for Your glory. In Jesus name....Amen
