Ephesians 1:5-8

Ephesians 1:5-8 Amplified Bible (AMP)

5For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]--
6[So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.
7In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor,
8Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence),

  1. Hi IwP,
I love Jeremy Camp and our church, we just finished studying Ephesians, very deep and wonderful to study with the body of Christ.

If you feel God is leading you to carry the prayers that He has placed on my heart over here to your blog go ahead. God is the director of my blog and this is in place to glorify Him and I go where He leads.

    Blessings,

  2. Hi CoG~ I love Jeremy Camp too...Ephesians is one of most favorite books of the bible. You are right, such depth in the message of the body of Christ. I think that is why I have such a connection to it and a such a love for it.

I too follow His lead; I must be honest it has at times proven to be a challenge but I know and trust through Him all things are possible.

“I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13)
Thank you so much ..Hugs and Blessings:)
