Restoration

Restore to me the joy of your salvation
   and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.  Psalm 51:12 (NIV)

Has anyone just woke up feeling BLAH?  EVERYTHING hurting...even my hair! Welp, today is one of those days for me...I have fibromyalgia, diagnosed with it, I guess its been 7 yrs now. Praise the Lord I am not on any meds and for that I am truly thankful, tried it for the 1st yr or so and yuck, yuck, I think it made me feel worse...Now I watch what I eat and take vitamins which seem to do the trick ☺ and of course through His grace I am able to function with minimal symptoms.  But there are some days when I am wake up feeling like I got runned over by a Mack truck and dragged all night : p

I believe its God's way of showing me how HE is control and Jesus is our ultimate physician.  A humbling reminder of how the enemy can come in and "put the whammy on ya when ya ain't lookin"  Have to confess... sometimes because I get caught up, I don't thank Him as usually do. It's not anything special or elaborate or even fancy but just a simple prayer I say in my head. Glorifying His name and His work in my body and a simple thank You for carrying me through each day.  This is the verse always helped  in the morning during mediating in my "Lord time"... "Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people" Matthew 9:35 and "If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." John 14:14

 Psalm 23
The LORD the Shepherd of His People

A Psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd;
        I shall not want.
        2He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
        He leads me beside the still waters.
        3He restores my soul;
        He leads me in the paths of righteousness
        For His name's sake.

        4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
        I will fear no evil;
        For You are with me;
        Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

        5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
        You anoint my head with oil;
        My cup runs over.
        6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
        All the days of my life;
        And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
        Forever.

This is a prayer for anyone who suffers from a chronic painful disease or condition. Or in need of blessed restoration suffering from everyday mental, emotional or physical exhaustion Remember.....                          THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH!!!!! Nehemiah 8:10

  Thank You Daddy for Your work in us and in our bodies as we walk and move through our days and nights...You restore our bodies each day and bless us with Your Grace.  We thank You that You are our Father and we trust in You and Your word to keep us and love us. Thank You that You planned our salvation, Your Son, Jesus Christ purchased it for us and the Holy Spirit delivered it us...In His Holy Name I pray...Amen!!

  1. I am sorry you are not well. :( My friend has fibromyalgia and uses prayer and diet to control it.
    It is not fun when you are sore, kind of turns the mood south. I find worship music and prayer really help me a lot.

    Praying for you sister,

  4. Thank You my dear Kerrie~ I am the person I am today because of FMS...a blessing to be able to help others with FMS through what I have learned and experienced. Even though I have bad days, the good days are definitely starting to out weigh the bad days by far. :D

    It FMS has also helped with my relationship with Our Heavenly Father and has helped in developing a very powerful prayer and mediation with Him. It has and still is a very powerful learning and intimate relationship with Him. He has been the ultimate teacher........wow, I am really rambling on, but I just wanted to express that I don't want you to feel sorry but know that He is in control and I have this for a reason. I am who I am for it and I feel blessed for ALL He has given me...good and BAD!!

    Hug and Blessings :))
