God Rewards.....

Hebrews 11:6  (AMP)
6But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

This verse really touched me and got me thinking....We can not expect to seek God halfheartedly and think that God will reward us just because we asked or say we believe.  We have to completely and totally surrender and be submissive to Him, to truly seek His face and want to have to an intimate relationship with Him, He KNOWS our heart, so we can't fool Him. He knows all.
When God doesn't feel present; feelings of doubt and willingness to His sovereignty becomes nonexistent.  But try to get up EVERY morning and thank God for His goodness and go through your day meditating on His promises.  Giving Him praise in the good times and the tough times.  Maybe put post-it notes up to remember to give Him praise and eventually it will become automatic.  You will find yourself praising Him out of the blue with a smile, even when times are hard and you will have peace through trials. You will know then HE IS IN HEART!   You will consistently grow, learning and striving to know Him better but without faith it is impossible to know God.  All you need is faith the size of mustard seed....

"You don't have enough faith," Jesus told them. "I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible." Matthew17:20 (NLT)

GET TO KNOW OUR/YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER
by praying, fasting and meditating on His promises for you!! He is waiting for you!!  You may say that I am sinner or I am to bad of a person God won't forgive me.  Maybe you feel you are not worthy of unconditional love, well have to say no matter what you or I have done or not done.....WE ALL are sinners and that is why He gave His only begotten son. Through Christ Jesus' blood we are saved and healed!!  Beloved, seek God diligently, He promises He will give us strength, wisdom, favor, promotion, healing and restoration....WHEN we seek Him with our WHOLE heart, we will find Him.  We won't be able to hide or outrun His goodness and blessing!!!! We also have to believe our life is not about us but about glorifying Him.  We were made to worship Him.
"for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see--such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him." Colossians 1:16 (NLT)

"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Luke 11:9

He Loves you more than you could possibly comprehend ♥

A LOVE LETTER FROM JESUS

Father God, I desire to please You in everything I do.  I ask today and everyday that You show me what I can do for You to Glorify Your name.  I declare that You are good and faithful, I trust You with my whole heart and believe in Your favor for those who diligently seek You. I choose to honor You and confess and thank You for the privilege to be Your representative.  Help me to show Your love and excellence in everything I do.  Thank You for sending Your Son, Christ Jesus to die for me so that I can live with You.  I declare that He is my Lord and Savior, and I receive all that You have me in Jesus' name....AMEN!

  1. Hi IwP,
So true but we cannot do this in our own strength we just have to allow God to work. Sometimes no matter how hard I try to give it my all I realize that I just can't do it. Then He gently reminds me that it is not in my strength that His will is accomplished but in His.

I recently came off a 2 week fast and near the end of this fast I was so weak, tired and just found it an effort to pray. He met me and told me that it is not my effort but His. He wants me weak and weary because then I give up self because of sheer exhaustion and then He comes in and does the work. It was one of those light bulb moments. I knew this, but at this point in time it really hit me hard.

I guess that is why He says come as you are, it is Him that gives us faith and will change us.

    Praying with you girl,

  3. Wonderful. Isn't it amazing how just opening your heart and mind to Scripture can turn the tide on a day? It happened to me this morning on the way to work! Lori
