Having victory is much more than avoiding problems. Having REAL victory is not in being problem free. True victory for the child of God comes when there is still peace in the soul in the midst of the raging storm.....when tragedy strikes or disappointment or through the pain and one can still say, "all is well in my soul." This kind of peace and assurance can only happen when you are looking at Jesus instead of your circumstances.
"...despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us." Romans 8:37
If you ever feel hopelessly weak and down on yourself? The only power weakness has over you is the power you give it. When you dislike yourself or the things you do because of your weaknesses this, unfortunately, opens doors to trouble that can affect many areas of your life. But our human weakness is no surprise to Our Heavenly Father. In fact, it is an opportunity for His strength and power to be made perfect in your weakness.
"My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me." 2 Cor 12:9
Meditate on the truth of this promise and understanding it only comes "through Him who loved us." If you are faced with problems that seem insurmountable, remember you are a conqueror through Him. Make the decision that you will not get down on yourself about your weakness allow God to strengthen your inner being. By realizing that in your weaknesses and problems gives God great opportunities, great divine opportunties. Stop grieving or fretting over your weaknesses and start receiving God's grace, strength, and power. When you are strong inside you can defeat anything that comes against you....
" through Him who strengthens you." Philipians 4:13
Father God, I humbly come to You in the precious name of Jesus Christ. I commit my words and thoughts to You. I choose to speak truth and love into my heart and those around and anyone I meet or touch. I trust that You are working for our good and we surrender every area of our lives to You. We hunger for every single thing You have for our lives. We choose to trust YOU and believe that You are taking us through our circumstances to a place of victory and strength in Jesus' name....AMEN!
