Prayer for Today

Father God, We receive Your word today and everyday, so that we may learn and grow with Your divine strength and wisdom.  As You give us our daily bread each day we may be nourished with Your truth in our lives.  We thank You that You are an ever loving and faithful Father and we are Your children.  Give us clear mind and open ears to hear Your voice and the discernment to know when we are getting in the way of Your will for our lives.  We trust in You Lord, we trust You will help us to soar like eagle, we will not be weary and we will walk and not faint according to

                                     

Isaiah 40:29-31

"He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary

They will walk and not faint."

 We trust and receive Your plan for our lives, we have faith and know that You are with with us and thank You!

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

 Thank You for gifts peace of mind and heart; Thank You that the Holy Spirit works through us and in us. We receive the works of the Spirit within us.  We know this peace You have given us is not of worldly peace but a Christlike peace; a peace we can not achieve through no conflict of earthly things but a peace of confident assurance the Holy Spirit is at work in us and around us--- in our present and in our future and that You are in control.

John 14:27

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid"

 We believe and have faith in our hearts we are saved. ...... To simply confess with our mouth and believe.... we are saved, You tell us in Romans 10:9 "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."   

Help us when we are weak and remind us of the simplicity of faith and Your love.  As the troubles and conflicts we experience from living this complicated and sometimes difficult life.  With stress of jobs, finances, and family it sometimes is hard to focus on looking up and knowing YOU Father are in control.  We are willing and are eager to hear Your voice and we will LISTEN!

Proverbs 1:33

But all who listen to me will live in peace,
untroubled by fear of harm.”

Help us to listen..... help us to know it is You when you are speaking to us Father.  Give us divine discernment to the small stuff we always seem to be sweating. Help us to have self control and not to overact to all things not for Your glory or will in our lives; to keep proper perspective on any situation or dilemma, large or small. To know You will supply us with what we need to handle whatever comes our way.  You are our great provider, Jehovah Jireh.  You are our strength and our fortress....Proverbs 18:10  ^"The name of the LORD is a fortified tower;  the righteous run to it and are safe."   Glory to be God, in His Holy Name we pray....AMEN!!!
